--Adapted from “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Kristen P.
December, 2006 (sung with the same tune)
It’s the most germiest time of the year
When the kids are all coughing
And Mommy is puking
Oh please don’t come near!
It’s the most germiest time of the Year!
It’s the sick-sickiest season of all
When the cold man is calling
And Lysol is spraying
No friends come to call!!
It’s the sick-sickiest season of all!
There’ll be Pepto a-plenty
And stomachs are empty
And hacking is all you can hear
There’ll be foreheads a –roasting
No time for blog posting
It’s not a good season I fear!
It’s the Germ-Germiest time…..
OF THE YEAR!!
When the kids are all coughing
And Mommy is puking
Oh please don’t come near!
It’s the most germiest time of the Year!
It’s the sick-sickiest season of all
When the cold man is calling
And Lysol is spraying
No friends come to call!!
It’s the sick-sickiest season of all!
There’ll be Pepto a-plenty
And stomachs are empty
And hacking is all you can hear
There’ll be foreheads a –roasting

It’s not a good season I fear!
It’s the Germ-Germiest time…..
OF THE YEAR!!

YEOOWWW! I hope it doesn't get that way around my house!
Very sad you aren't feeling well, Funny, but while I was reading your cute little poem...my mind thought of the Christmas song and put it to the tune of "It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year"! Jingle...Jingle...Jingle.
Hope you all feel better real soon so you can enjoy this blessed season!
ok that is so clever!
hope you all get better soon!
You are so clever. You always seem to get the crap going around. Feel better!
Cute song. Too bad it's all too true!
so THAT's why we were at the pediatric clinic at 7pm carrying a baby with a 102.6 degree fever!
Very funny poem - but, alas, all too true. It wouldn't be Christmas without someone getting sick. I suppose it has something to do with all the running around we have to do.
Praying you will all be well soon.
Well! That is just too (true) and perfect!
I hope you can do a little germ-free dance....and stay well!
Got a phone call yesterday from my foster daughter, she had just received the phone call that the child her three year old had played with the day before.....has the chicken pox! Just in time for Christmas! Wait and see.
You'd think Mr. YUK would know by now--he's not an invited guest to our celebrations.
I hope you are feeling better SOON!
Blessings!
Diane
