They're Here!!

This is Grandma Dawn doing a little update for Kristen. She has had a rough afternoon, after a very uneventful surgery, which produced two beautiful, tiny, little girls. Please pray for all of them. The girls are great - Emma's on oxygen - she weighs 2 lbs. 15.5 ounces and is 15 inches long. She's FEISTY!! But she's tiny and needs some extra help.

Kate is 3 lbs. 5 ounces and is 15 3/4 inches long. She's feisty too! One of the nurses said to her, "You don't know you're a preemie, do you??

Kristen has had some blood pressure and temperature and bleeding issues since we left her there alone. (I think the hospital personnel were glad to see the crowd leave - see my site for pictures of the "clan.")

I'm just going to post two introductory pictures here, and you can go to my post for more. I'm TIRED! I need to get the kids to bed - school tomorrow.

Thanks for your prayer and caring!

Oh Kristen! God is so good!

Congratulations on your two little beauties! THey are adorable and look so-o-o-o good!

I hope that you continue to heal from the surgery and can enjoy each and every moment with Katie and Emma. My own Katie, who now stands 5'10" and works as an RN in a Neo Natal Unit, was born prematurely---back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth 27 years ago! She has grown into a beautiful, healthy, young woman....as I know that God intends for your own Katie and Emma!

Have you met Donnette yet...(say that fast four times!)? I mentioned to your mom the connection....it's truly a small world!

But we serve a BIG God...and I am praising Him today for his faithful answer to our prayers for you and your two little miracles!

Happy Birthday Emma and Katie!

I popped over from Slurping Life. your posts brought back so many memories of my hospital stay and my preemie 13 years ago. He is now happy and healthy. No doubt your girls will be the same with a momma that loves them to help them grow.
