I swear I just felt a kid kick the side of my gut. I could swear, but isn't it a little too early?! I mean, there are two in there after all; they are fighting for space. I suppose it could be possible that a tiny little leg cramped from lack of space could have karate chopped my side, isn't it?! It didn't feel like any sort of digestion or otherwise. I think it was a kick. That settles it; my kid is kicking me....already.
Kick away kid...kick away!
Several Hours Later.....
So I felt it again. I'm pretty sure he/she/they are really kicking in there and it's not my imagination. They are telling me that they are just fine. I know that's what they're saying. For sure.

Kristen, I am very late getting in on all of this...I just read below the long post about finding out about the possible problems...and the twins...
Please know that I will be praying for you and your little lifes growing inside- as well as your whole family.
I was told in my first pregnancy when I had an ultrasound done, that I had a very good chance that the baby would be born with Downs Syndrome. I didn't want to have the CVS done, I was too nervous about it...so I had to keep coming back for high-level ultrasounds. I knew I would love my baby no matter what, but I was very scared.
I know it doesn't work out this way for everyone...but in this case, God was merciful, and the baby was born completely free of an extra chromosome...
I believe that God can still do miracles, even while babies are still being formed and knitted in the womb. So I will be praying...
And praying most of all that God gives you incredible peace.
(((HUGS)))
yeah for a kick!! how exciting is that?! I bet it was real, I know it was. I felt both of my kids around 15 weeks...you're pretty much there, plus, there are two...
I'm sure it was a kick...maybe you got a couple of little future footballers in there! hehe I remember feeling movement quite early:-) xox

I just found you again after you fell off Bloglines.
Congratulations on your pregnancy and the "kick"! I will keep you in my thoughts for continued good news.
It's much more exciting to be kicked from inside the womb, isn't it! I agree...keep kicking!

I'm so happy they are letting you know that they are alright! I'm keeping you and your family in my positive thoughts!
How sweet, Kristen. Sounds like it's getting crowded in there which means the little ones are growing. I'm holding my breath until you get some test results but I tell you, I have a good feeling about this.
I just love that feeling until the baby is sooo big it really hurts, but anyway:) those kicks are such good signs that I know you are welcoming them. Kick on babies!!

Hey, I was updating the prayer list in my sidebar today, and went to link here, and noticed that you'd made a button in your sidebar-- I swiped it! I hope that's ok. If you'd rather I not use it, just let me know.
You & those precious babies are still in my prayers!

I just wanted to jump in and tell you that you aren't crazy! I felt my twins kick very early!!! I too believe that it is simply that there are two in there jockying for position and they tend to get into bizarre positions.
You may even feel them regularly for a few days or weeks and then not feel anything again for a while at this stage in the pregnancy. I'm praying for continual actively kicking days!
That is very exciting!
Praying for you and your little ones today!
Honey, they're BETTER than fine. They are in the hands of the Master Creator!
Oh praise the Lord. That is exactly what they are saying. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless.
I hopped over from 5 Minutes for Mom. You, your babies, and your family are in my prayers.
I felt kicks at 18 weeks when I was pregnant with my twins. I also had horrible morning sickness all of the way up to week 32 of my twin pregnancy.
I'll be back to visit and will be praying for you all.
