And that about says it all. Care Bear did great. Dad was shooting the pics. Mom and Feisty? Felt the pain a little more than the rest. She had a fabulous day at Kindergarten and was disappointed that she didn't have homework last night. Next up? Signing the kid up for Soccer. It's about time. You should see her kick a ball! Where's my mini-van cuz I'm officially gonna be a soccer mom. (I need a van anyway here real soon.....anyone wanting to give one away?!)

Oh, poor little Feisty! I didn't notice her in the background when I was downloading the pictures.
Well, she'll be plenty busy soon being the big sister and mommy's helper! And before you know it - kindergarten!
Those are some sweet pictures. Poor mama and Feisty. I dread the day my little guy starts kindergarten :(
You sure will be needing a van soon!
Glad CareBear had a great 1st day of Kindy!
She'll love school, and Mom will recover soon. ;D
Hope all is well otherwise with you and yours....
BTW: Care Bear's name is showing on her backpack in that one pic if you want to edit it....
Love and hugs,
Diane
Your pictures brought tears to my eyes because I dread the day I have to send my kiddos to school! I'm glad she had fun though, that is what is most important!! :)
Those are wonderful pictures. I'm glad she was so happy and excited to go.
Awww! What a great photo diary of the big day! I found your blog from your mom...my son's first day was today too.

Those pictures are abolutely perfect!! These sorts of days on tough on Moms and little sisters.
You look wonderful. I pray for you and the babies daily. God is in control Kristen!
I'm glad Care Bear had a great first day of Kindergarten! It will get easier for you and Feisty. :-)
Loved the pictures!
That brought back so many memories of when my boys started going to school...they had a ball, I bawled! lol It's hard to see them growing up and starting a new stage in their lives. Poor little Feisty, she really took it hard too:-( Before you know it, though, you'll all be used to the new routine and Care Bear will be bringing you home all kinds of things she made for you at school:-) xox
She looks so excited. I'm sure that made it a bit easier on you. Miss Care bear was so fun to be around on Sunday. How's Fiesty feeling?
i have been on blogger hiatus for awhile (posting here and there but barely reading anyone's at all). shame on me! i just read about your pregnancy and wanted to let you know that you are in our prayers! God is still in the miracle working business so just hang in there. visit emily at personallyblessed.blogspot.com. they told her titus had problems too and he came out fine! she may have already commented but if not, definitely talk to her!
but on a happier note--congratulations! babies are such a joy and i know your life will be blessed by them.
and congrats on making it through care bear's first day of school. i think everything is harder on the moms than it is on the kids. i guess it'll be that way forever (or so my mom says).
our hugs and prayers are with you!!
Love, love, love their first day of school outfits. So cute!
I tell you what - I think those first days are MUCH harder on us than they ever are on them! You are looking great and she looks like she had a fun time - I LOVE that last picture! :)
Kristen,
It has been 21 years since my own "baby" went to her first day of kindergarten...and oh my! How the photos brought me back to those feelings! It doesn't get any easier either...I was mush when our 2nd child entered kindergarten...and I can't tell you what happened when our last "baby" went to school!!!! Geesh! A mother's heart!
Upset because there was no homework! Keep that one framed for her....in a few years...that kind of motivational reminder will do her well!!!
Sweet photo diary! What a keepsake!
Diane
In spite of all the black holes in my childrearing memory, I vividly remember every detail of my oldest child's first day of kindergarten. I especially remember all the emotions I felt that day.
These photos capture all of it. The bottom line is, she's going to love it. And you're going to be surprised how quickly you accept that you have a little girl in school.
I have to admit, I already dread this big, life-changing day in Cameron's life though. It's hard to turn them over to the world, isn't it?
Sweet sweet photos, Kristen.
Van? You need a bus, for crying out loud!
Speaking of crying out loud - the pictoral journey was really heart-wrenching! Pooor Mom and Feisty! (But Happy Care Bear!)
It is always hardest on mom and any kiddos left behind, but somehow we do survive LOL! I loved the picture journey and I actually shed a few tears at the one of you wiping your tears! I have a couple more years until I have another enter Kindergarten, I'm sure I'll do it all over again!
Happy WW!
