As in a portion of my body hurts. My legs. Way up high. And it's making it hard to walk and get out of my chair comfortably. I feel like a crotchety old lady. I think I'm going to file for short term disability and just spend the rest of this pregnancy in my bed, on my couch, or curled up in my massive recliner.
I'm only half way through. What on earth am I going to do?
At least I have clothes to wear now. Courtesy of my fabu cousin Karen and my wonderful Mom. What would I ever do without these people to take care of me?! Go naked I guess. And who would want to see that?!
The "Baby Name Game" will continue throughout the remainder of my pregnancy (or until I decide on names, whichever comes first). Click on the button in the sidebar to add any names you think of. This is much harder than I thought!

I'm sorry you're having pain Kristen. I'm sure this carrying two precious little ones will be a whole new experience. I'll be praying for you kiddo!
I can well imagine you'd be feeling pain considering you're carrying two babies...imagine the weight they're putting on everything inside of you! Mention it to your doctor next time you see him but I'm sure it's just the pressure. xox
Yup, I remember that old granny walk the last minth or so of pregnancy. Not fun at all, especially considering that you have halfway more to go. Hope you find someway to relieve the pressure.
Sounds like a plan to me. Actually, applying for your short term disability might be the best thing for you and the babies.
Whatever you do, I hope you feel better soon, if that's possible.
Hugs,
Diane
Are you going to model a few of your new maternity clothes so that we can see your baby bump?
I should have mentioned that some of those clothes were Julie's as well. You can easily pick out stuff that was hers, it's all the cool looking stuff.
Wow, I've been out of the loop lately. Congratulations! Blessings on you and those little ones!
Krissy is having the same pain, Kristen, and it's because the baby is pressing on her sciatic nerve. There's not much you can do about it but if it gets really bad, you really should apply for that short term disability. That's what it's there for.
With Peanut and Little D I had shooting pains down both legs for the last several months I was pregnant. Doc said it was because I carried my babies so low that they were sitting on some nerve and I would just have to deal - thanks, just what I wanted to hear:) Anyhow, I feel for you:) There were many a times I wished I could just stand on my head and force those babies higher into my ribs or something:)
With my last pregnancy I developed Pubic Symphysis Dysfunction, which meant that my hip bones were getting so relaxed that they were spreading apart. That hurt. A lot. My physician told me I couldn't do anything whatsoever for it, but I went to a chiropractor, and while I barely hobbled into the clinic, I practically danced back out after she was done. You may want to consider finding a decent chiropractor, someone who is familiar with working with pregnant women. If it's a sciatic nerve thing, that can be helped as well. I'm using a different chiro this time, and while I don't like him quite as much as the lady I went to before, he is keeping me intact this time around from much earlier on, and it is helping tons.
