So, Grandma took her to a more "seasoned" hairstylist. You know, one who's been through an apprenticeship and has the right to take a pair of scissors to the hair.
The front viewThe back view.
Please make me feel better and tell me my adorable daughter doesn't look like a boy.
Grandma must have been busy watching Dr. Phil. It's all good Grandma. Just hide the scissors better, eh?

Grandma about had a heart attack! Thanks for not killing me! I told Care Bear that she maybe should be a hairdresser when she got big. She said, "No, Grandma, because you'd always be made at me!" I told her I wasn't mad at her, but I was afraid Mommy and Daddy were going to be mad at me!
It'll grow, that's all I can say.
Wow. Way to go for not killing your mom!!! I don't know that I'd have had so much self control!! j/k. It could happen to anyone!! At anytime! It'll grow. Little Feisty has a pixie cut!!! I'm sorry for your loss. :) It's devastating when these type of things happen. It'll grow!!
It turned out really cute though. I'm sure it will grow out fast, in the meantime, it makes for a great story.
Cut from the same cloth your girls and my Duchess. At least once a year Duchess takes scissor to her hair.
It looks cute tho!!
Oh my goodness! The end result is cute, though. She does NOT look like a boy!
She looks adorable. My own "little girl" (soon to be 36) always wore her hair very short because she didn't really have much till she was about 3 or 4.
Pixie cuts are cute..
Glad you went easy on Grandma :)
She looks darling and NO she does not look like a little boy!
Thankfully I always took scissors to my barbies and not my little sister...though had I had the opportunity...perhaps I would've gone for it!
Would it make you feel any better if I told you I cut my own hair when I was 4 years old and had to have it cut as short as Feisty's? lol I don't think there are too many families that can tell you that one of their kids DIDN'T cut their own or someone else's hair! I can just imagine how bad grandma felt though...all part of the memories you will share with CareBear and Feisty when they're older! lol Hugs xoxo
it looks cute...that was a lot of hair though! I think little girls look so cute with short cuts, it shows off their cute little faces & big eyes. Try pulling some bangs over to the side with a sparkly little clip, that is my favorite!
Only Feisty can pull off being cute with short hair! I can see some competition coming up for me as far as the next beautician/hairdresser in the family ;)
At least she didn't cut it to the scalp like our Luci did Last year..on the left side only of course..It's a very good cut and a good lesson also, for her and you:)Our scissors are one the island now away from the chairs and grasping fingers.
Don't let anyone call her a boy..she'll cry for a week.Every time she saw a ponytail holder it would start again...poor baby.
Would it make you feel any better that my Mom used to cut hair like that and she still does!!!
I think Care Bear is very talented! It is kind of cute! She's styling now baby! :)
I want to know what Grandma was really doing! hehe! :)
she didn't do a bad job!! she could probably get a job in some of the 'trendy' salons here in in london :)
It's nearly a right-of-passage! Scissors in the hands of a preschooler......beware!
She looks adorable! Thankfully it could be re-fashioned! My own foster granddaughter cut her own hair......took her bangs, held them tightly in her hand and put the scissor near her scalp. With one snip.......she had butchered her darling hair style. Somehow it's tougher re-fashioning a hairstyle when one side of the bangs is completely gone. But--the good news....it grew back in short order!
Don't be too mad at Grandma...after all...the expression goes, "Mom has eyes in the back of her head...." NOT Grandma's!
Diane
Whoops!
It looks fine and yes, it will grow back.
Oh Kristen - I did the very same thing to my little sister. We also have the pictures to prove it. I don't know what got into me!! I actually thought I could improve her current hairsytle :)
She looks like a sweet little pixie. And I'll bet it's lots easier to take care of!!
OMG! I had the very same nightmare happen here about 2 years ago, it was a sad day I'll tell ya, but we look back on it and laugh so hard, it is quite funny after the fact!
my 3rd daughter did this to herself....4 times! and she is my most creative child so maybe they go hand in hand! I still hide the sissors, but now I never know where they are either!
