Wordless Wednesday

Before I get to my Wordless Wednesday, I would like to call your attention to a series that is being written by my brother, Kevin, who is guest blogging on my sister-in-law's (his wife) blog at 28 Celcius . He is chronicling his battle with drug addiction and his eventual triumph over it. In conjunction with him, my Mom is writing her side of the story. It promises to be a very sad, heart-breaking and eventual triumphant story. Now to my Wordless Wednesday....

We all look like we're freezing to death! I had them all sit down just before Mommy came home from work because they were all "hyper" as Care Bear put it. They put on their coats to be ready to go, and Care Bear asked for this particular book to be read. It worked - they were all calmed down when Mommy got there. Great book about a very creative dentist, called Open Wide, by Tom Barber. Check for it at your library - really fun book.

Reading to my grandchildren is one of my greatest pleasures. From the looks of this picture, your Mom enjoys it just as much as I do!

Care Bear always has one book from the 15 or so that we get each time that she wants to read over and over. When we take it back, she puts it down the shoot and says, "Good-Bye, favorite book!"

Absolutely wonderful photo. It's a classic. I'd enlarge that, frame it and hang it over the bookshelves. I really would. As a matter of fact, I think I'll get Rob to take a photo of me reading to Cameron just so I can do that very thing!
